Aviation Maintenance Technology

Fletcher is developing an aviation maintenance technology program designed to train future aviation mechanics.  With the recent purchase of three aircraft hangars at the Houma-Terrebonne Airport, the program is anticipated to launch in 2026.  It will prepare students for careers in aviation maintenance with a focus on FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certifications. This program offering is pending all necessary accreditation approvals including SACSCOC and FAA.
