Job seekers connect with area employers during a previous job fair at Fletcher Technical Community College.
Schriever, La. - Fletcher Technical Community College will host its Annual Bayou Region Job Fair on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the college’s Schriever campus. The event is open to Fletcher students, alumni and members of the public seeking employment opportunities or looking to connect with employers throughout the Bayou Region.
Held in partnership with Louisiana Works, the annual event brings employers and job seekers together while connecting attendees with resources designed to support successful transitions into the workforce. Approximately 70 employers are expected to participate in the four-hour event, along with additional higher education and resource organizations.
Employers representing a variety of industries will be on site, including fields aligned with Fletcher’s academic and workforce programs in Energy and Advanced Technology; Business, Education and Science; and Nursing and Allied Health. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet directly with employers, learn about available positions and explore career opportunities throughout the region.
Fletcher Enrollment Advisors will be available to provide information about academic and technical programs, admissions and enrollment for individuals interested in beginning or continuing their education.
The Job Fair will take place in the Main Building atrium and the Nursing & Workforce Building on Fletcher’s Schriever campus. Food trucks will also be available on campus during the event.
A comprehensive list of participating employers will be posted on Fletcher’s website prior to the Job Fair and will be available to attendees at the event.
Job seekers are encouraged to come prepared to make the most of their conversations with prospective employers. Attendees should dress professionally, bring multiple copies of an updated résumé and approach each interaction as an opportunity to make a strong first impression.
