The investment will help remove financial barriers for students preparing to enter Louisiana’s healthcare workforce while strengthening the pipeline of skilled nursing professionals needed throughout the region.
“This generous investment by Louisiana Charities is an investment in our students, our workforce, and the overall health of our communities,” said Dr. Kristine Strickland, Chancellor of Fletcher Technical Community College. “Healthcare professionals are essential to the future of our region, and these scholarships will help students access life-changing educational opportunities while addressing critical workforce needs across South Louisiana.”
The scholarship funding will support students enrolled in Fletcher’s nursing programs, helping expand access to education and career training in high-demand healthcare fields.
