SCHRIEVER, LA - Venture Global is partnering with Fletcher Technical Community College to offer free Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) night class training to qualifying residents of Terrebonne, Lafourche, and Assumption Parishes. Participants will also receive training in Forklift Operations. This opportunity is open to individuals age 18 and older.
The training is part of Venture Global’s Will to Skill initiative, a community investment program designed to connect residents with industry-recognized credentials and career opportunities.
“Programs like this directly support the workforce needs of our region,” said Nancy Clement, Dean of Energy & Advanced Technologies. “By removing financial barriers and offering flexible evening training, we are helping individuals step into essential roles that keep our local economy moving.”
Mandatory informational sessions will be held on Monday, March 30, at 12 PM and 5 PM at the Fletcher Workforce and Nursing Building at the main campus located at 1407 Highway 311 in Schriever, Louisiana. Interested participants must attend only one session.
Classes begin April 20, 2026, and will be held Monday – Thursday from 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM at the Fletcher Thibodaux Facility located at 1425 Tiger Drive in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
