From the LCTC Office:
Following the incident referenced in our earlier communication (noted below), LCTC has become aware of a second incident and is actively working with Instructure to monitor the impact across our colleges.
Until further notice, students should not attempt to access or use Canvas. Additional guidance regarding system availability and next steps will be shared through official college communications as information becomes available. Students should not click any suspicious links or popups related to Canvas.
We also understand this disruption comes at a critical point in the semester as many students prepare for final exams, projects, and end-of-term assignments. Rest assured that your instructors and college teams will work with you to provide flexibility, alternative communication methods, and support as needed during this time.
We understand how important your personal information is and remain committed to keeping you informed as more information becomes available.
