What is Black Student Union?

The Black Student Union is dedicated to the support of black students at Fletcher. In promoting the voices of our Black and other minority students, we encourage unity across campus. We do this by creating a community among black students at Fletcher and promoting dialogue among students of all ethnicities in order to embrace the beauty of individual diversity. 

Through integration and cooperation with the surrounding black community, the BSU fosters positive relationships between its members and those in Fletcher’s neighboring area. 

Relationships created both within and though the BSU generate a sense of belonging and support for its members.
