Our Winter Intercession courses (or Winny-Minis!) offer the same material and credits as a regular semester class – it’s just faster! All classes are 3 credits, and all are online.

An examination of the history, organization, and function of the local, state, and federal agencies that make up the criminal justice system. Introduces students to the critical thinking, reading, writing, and rhetorical skills required in the college/university and beyond, including citation and documentation, writing as process, audience awareness; and writing effective essays. Introduction to basic medical terminology and vocabulary used in the health care field. Covers origin of words, including the use of prefixes, suffixes, anatomical roots and abbreviations organized by body system.
