Fletcher Technical Community College, the South Central Industrial Association, and Louisiana’s Community and Technical Colleges (LCTCS) have partnered to create a resource for employers and community members.
The LCTCS Reboot Your Career program is designed to support workers who may be unemployed due to COVID-19 to re-train for jobs that are on high-wage career pathways. In 12 weeks or less, Fletcher and LCTCS can help you reboot your career by learning new, marketable skills in just a few weeks, and at a reduced price.
The Reboot Your Career program is designed to help individuals who find themselves unemployed or underemployed, the chance to learn new, marketable skills in just a few weeks, and at a reduced price. Fletcher is pleased to participate in the Reboot Your Career program and invites you to review some of the occupations that are in demand that Fletcher can prepare you for:
- Healthcare: Nursing Assistant; Medical Assistant; Phlebotomist; Pharmacy Technician; Medical Records and Health Information IT
- Automotive: Driving: Drivers/Sales Workers; Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Drivers; Automotive Service Technicians and Mechanics
- Manufacturing & Services: Machinists; Computer-controlled Machine Tool Operators; Welders, Cutters, Solderers, and Brazers; Electricians; Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Mechanics and Installers; Architectural and Civil Drafters
- Construction/Heavy Equipment: Crane and Tower Operators; Structural Metal Fabricators and Fitters; Operating engineers and other construction equipment operators
