I understand that by checking the box below, should my appeal be approved, I must meet the terms of my Academic Plan each semester for the duration of my Academic Plan SAP status. I further understand that if I fail to meet the terms of my Academic Plan, for any reason, all future aid will be cancelled until I meet minimum academic standards as outlined in the Satisfactory Academic Progress policy. The terms of the Academic Plan are:

  1. Earn a GPA of 2.25 each payment period
  2. Pass 75 percent of all hours attempted each payment period

Documentation must be submitted in order for the committee to review your appeal.  If no supporting documentation is submitted, the appeal will be denied. Possible or suggested documentation includes but is not limited to: Medical records, obituary, letter of support, police report. While these are not the only supplemental documentation you can provide, these are examples of what would be acceptable. If you are not able to upload your documents to this form, please email the documentsto financialaid@fletcher.edu. Be sure to include your full name, student ID number, and reference the completed SAP appeal.

You will receive a response on your LOLA account as soon as the committee has met and made a decision. Your new SAP status will read one of the following after a decision has been made: Appeal Granted, Academic Plan, or Appeal Denied.
