Getting Started

The Coastal Commerce Bank Library is committed to providing Distance Education (DE) students with library services comparable to those at the main campus through

  • access to electronic books and journals,
  • a borrowing service for books and journals owned by the Library (Coastal Commerce Bank Library Materials),
  • a borrowing service through the public library for books and journals held by the Coastal Commerce Bank Library,
  • a borrowing service for full-text articles from publications not owned by the Library,
  • Interlibrary Loan Services,
  • LALINC - reciprocal borrowing agreements with many other academic libraries in the state, and
  • a direct phone number for reference services.

Students eligible to utilize these services must

  • Be currently enrolled in an online Fletcher class, hybrid online Fletcher class, LCTCS online class,                                        be an Early Start Student or a Cross-Enrolled Student
  • have a LALINC card prior to requesting services through either the Coastal Commerce Bank Library or site libraries,
  • follow the policies and procedures of the library for borrowing and returning materials.

You must have a Fletcher Student ID number to participate in distance education services

Coastal Commerce Bank Library is located at  1407 Highway 311 in Schriever in Room 128 and 310 St. Charles Street in Houma in Room 202. 

Our hours of operation are:


Schriever Campus

During Fall and Spring Semester: Monday-Thursday 7am-7pm and Friday, 7am-4pm.

Summer Semester and Semester Breaks: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm.


Houma Campus

7:00am-3:30pm Monday and 7:30am-4:00pm on Thursday only during regular semester times.
