Fletcher Closes on New Campus Property
Recently property purchased from Act 391 bond proceeds for the first 32.2 acres of the future 74.2 acres home for L.E. Fletcher Technical Community College in Houma officially closed.

College Status regarding Hurricane Ida
As of November 9, 2009, 10:44 a.m., Fletcher Technical Community College will remain open. College officials will continue to monitor the status of the storm and will issue a FirstCall Emergency Notification to all students, faculty and staff should the status of the college change.
Chevron recently donated $4,500 to the college for Fletcher’s oil and gas production training program.
Spring 2010 Registration Bulletin
Advising for Continuing Students begins November 9th. Registration for Continuing Students is from November 14-December 8. New student advising and registration is from January 6-8.
Fletcher Receives Funding
Governor Jindal announced on October 12, 2009, that the state is committing $2.7 million in Community and Development Block Grants for the purchase of the remaining property needed for the new Fletcher Technical Community College campus.

FLETCHER RECEIVES SACS COC ACCREDITATION
The Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS COC) Board of Trustees granted initial accreditation to Fletcher Technical Community College.

Fletcher Graduates First Associate Of Science in Nursing Class
Fletcher Technical Community College (Fletcher) proudly announces the first graduating class in its two-year Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program. In the fall of 2007, Fletcher completed all of the steps required by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing to offer an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing.
